Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data of Users Requesting to be Contacted by PLT Energia S.r.l.


Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), PLT Energia S.r.l., as data controller, provides this notice regarding the processing of personal data of users (“Users”) who complete the form in the “Contacts” section (“Contact Form”) available on PLT’s website (the “Website”).

 Users’ personal data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to respond to and handle the User’s request; afterwards they will be deleted.

 Users’ personal data will be retained for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations.
3) Management of potential disputes Pursuit of the legitimate interest of PLT in protecting and defending its rights (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

 Users’ personal data will be retained for the time necessary to protect the rights and/or interests of PLT and/or third parties, in accordance with applicable limitation periods.

  1. Scope of Circulation and Recipients of Personal Data

Users’ personal data will be processed exclusively by personnel authorized by PLT, solely for the purposes indicated above.

Personal data may also be disclosed to:

  1. entities providing services on behalf of PLT, appointed as data processors (for example IT service providers);
  2. public or private entities (for example insurance companies, banks, legal advisors, public or judicial authorities), which will act as independent data controllers.

Personal data will not be disclosed, except where required by law.

  1. Transfer of Data Outside the European Economic Area

Users’ personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

  1. Data Subjects’ Rights

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the User may exercise the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

The User also has the right to object to processing in the cases provided for in Article 21 GDPR.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the User who believes that the processing of their personal data violates the GDPR has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR.
